Subaru Telescope is committed to inspect our facility and equipment and to review work procedures and management procedures so that visitors can complete what they need to complete safely. In some cases, the causes of the accident may be attributed to the person who got injured. Subaru Telescope makes the best effort to make safety rules the more effective and the safety rules outline the qualification and the training requirement for certain type of work. All parts and devices that visitors will bring to Subaru Telescope need to be certified as safe by Subaru Telescope. Due to the size of the instrument, moving parts, cryogenics and electric parts may be dangerous. Take a look at the relevant chapters and make yourself ready even before your project starts.
