COMICS spectrograph

The COMICS spectrograph consists of 5 arrays, each 320 pixels in the dispersion direction, separated by the equivalent of 250 pixels. The entire spectrum fits on a single array in low-resolution mode, while two exposures are required to produce a complete spectrum in medium or high-resolution mode. The following table summarizes the performance of each grating; more detailed information can be found on the individual grating pages.
