    The Cards
We, the MKOOC, made playing-card-style trading cards with astronomical images and pictures of telescopes on Mauna Kea. The 13 tele-scopes atop Mauna Kea are exactly the same number as the cards included in one suit. We allocated telescopes, Solar System objects, objects in the Milky Way (Our Galaxy), and galaxies for each suit. We also included images of the Faulkes Telescope on Haleakala, Maui Island, education and outreach sites of the Big Island of Hawai`i, and a Hawaiian telescope.
