ASHRA at Mauna Loa

The 6th International Workshop on Very High Energy Particle Astronomy-Connection between Wide Field Survey and Cosmic Ray Observation was held at Subaru's Hilo Base Facility on Mar. 15-16, 2007. More than 20 scientists from Hawaii, Mainland, and Japan gathered to discuss the astronomy utilizing the energetic cosmic rays and neutorinos. New instruments including ASHRA (All-Sky High Resolution Air-shower detector), an experiment at Mauna Loa, were also introduced. Three astronomers from Subaru Telescope made presentation on their recent findings and R&D status of the new instruments.
