Excursion-1: Half-day visit to Kamakura (Dec. 13 11:30-18:00)
The historical town Kamakura is the old capital of Japan between 1192 and 1333.
It is known as the birth-place of the Samurai administration.
Many beautiful temples and shrines were built during this period and have been
well preserved until today.
Early December is a dramatic season for Kamakura since the town is beautifully
decorated with red/yellow leaves and you can feel the last moment of Japanese
late-autumn before it turns quickly into a winter.
Kamakura is renowned as one of the best places to visit near Tokyo city
yet you find yourself in the heart of Japanese old culture.
