- How to get to Kyoto?
From Kansai International Airport (KIX)
The "Haruka" express train takes just a little over an hour to arrive at Kyoto Station from the airport. Another reasonable option is the limousine bus, which takes about 105 minutes depending on traffic to Kyoto Station.
From Tokyo
The Narita Express (NEX) train from Narita Airport takes approximately 60 minutes to arrive at Tokyo station.
Also you can choose the limousine bus service, which takes about 80 minutes. Tokaido shinkansen ("bullet train") departs from Tokyo station. The shinkansen ride to Kyoto Station is as short as 2 hours and 15 minutes.
Flights from Narita to Itami airport are only approximately one hour long. After arriving, relax on the 55-minute limousine bus ride to Kyoto.
From Itami Airport
Flights from airports in the Tokyo area, including Narita and Haneda, arrive at Itami airport in about one hour. From Itami airport, relax in the limousine bus, which takes only 55 minutes to arrive at Kyoto station.

- How to get to Kyodai-Kaikan from Kyoto station?
Kyoto City Bus
30-40min. 220yen.
Take city bus 206 [bound for "Kitaoji-Bus Terminal Higashiyama St."] from bus terminal D2 to "Kyodai Seimon Mae" bus stop. From there, It takes 7 minutes on foot.
Taxi
20-25min. Approximately 1,800yen.
You can use the following "destination card" to go to Kyodai-Kaikan: by showing this card, any taxi driver can bring you to Kyodai-Kaikan.

Subway Karasuma Line and Kyoto City Bus
10 min. 230yen by subway and 10-15min. 220yen by bus.
Take the subway [bound for "Kokusai-Kaikan"] to "Imadegawa Station".
Take exit No.3 and turn left.
Take city bus 201 [bound for "Hyakumanben-Gion"] to "Kyodai Seimon Mae" bus stop. Furthermore, It takes 7 minutes on foot.
