Target visibility

Subaru Telescope can observe targets as low as 15 degrees elevation above the horizon. The following figure shows the length of time a celestial target is above a given elevation angle, as a function of its declination. This figure is also available in postscript format.

The following table lists visibility durations for various target declinations. An web tool to help determine your targets' visibility is also available.
