New CCDs of Suprime-Cam

Newly developed CCDs (fully-depleted-type) were installed in Suprime-Cam on June 2008, and have been used since the end of S08A. The detailed evaluation of the performance is on-going.

New scientific-grade chip of MOIRCS

The channel-1 of MOIRCS was replaced into the new scientific-grade array on July 2008. The evaluation result is shown in the web page.

AO188 operation without LGS

AO188 will be operated in S09A without the laser guide star system, combined with IRCS.
