Limited Availability of Suprime-Cam and MOIRCS Spectroscopic mode

Availability of Suprime-Cam and MOIRCS spectroscopic mode will be significantly limited. Those could be available only in the latter half of S12A semester. The detailed assessment is on-going.

Unavailability of FOCAS in S12A

Through an extensive assessment of FOCAS recovery, it is found that it will be unavailable for S12A semester. The recovery effort is on-going.

Normal Operation of LGS function with AO188

Laser guide star (LGS) function of AO188 will be available for S12A semester in normal operations, combined with IRCS.

Opening of IRS1 and IRS2 High Resolution Mode of FMOS

High resolution (HR) mode of both IRS1 and IRS2 of FMOS will be available for open use from S12A in shared-risk operations.
