• A Y band filter is opened from S11A. Please refer to the Available general filters and sensitivity for detail characteristic of the new filter.
• If you wish to bring your own filters, please read the User filter acceptance policy on the Suprime-Cam web pages carefully and submit the required documents (the certificate of actual size measurement and inspection data of optical characteristics) to Fumiaki Nakata by October 31, 2010.

Introduction

The Subaru Prime Focus Camera (Suprime-Cam) is a mosaic of ten 2048 x 4096 CCDs, located at the prime focus of Subaru Telescope, which covers a 34' x 27' field of view with a pixel scale of 0.20''.
