The Symposium is supported by the EACOA (leading observatories in the four regions). In addition to EACOA fund and the registration fee (TBD), we are seeking for some other funds in Japan, like the Foundation of Promotion of Astronomy (FPA), and the Astronomical Society of Japan (ASJ).

The basic idea is that those core observatories in China (NAOC), Japan (NAOJ), Korea (KASI) and Taiwan (ASIAA) support travel and accommodations of attendants from each region. The similar idea is applied to the attendants from other countries, however, for those attendants from regions/countries without adequate governmental nor institutional supports we try to provide limited amount of funding to support travel and/or accommodation expense. Internet Connection
You can hook up your PC on the Internet via wired/wireless LAN in Fukuoka International Congress Center (Oct. 8 ~ Oct. 11).
Internet is not available at Fukuoka Science Museum in Kurume city (Oct. 12).

Poster Presentation
The size of poster board is 85cm of width and 205cm of height for each poster. We will provide pins only.
You can put posters in the poster session place between Oct. 8 and Oct. 11. You have to remove your posters from the poster session place by the end of sessions at Fukuoka International Congress Center on Oct. 11.

Oral Presentation
We prepare a projector with a VGA cable, an over head camera and a PC. It is best to use your own PC that comes with a D-sub 15pin connector. You can use our PC to display your ppt or pdf file. Bring your file in a USB flash memory or CD-R to load the file to our PC. Please keep in mind that this option may cause some display problems if your file tries to use fonts that our PC does not have.

Proceedings
As like the all previous EAMA symposium we like to publish a proceedings for the record and references of cooperation of EA astronomy. Details will be discussed in the SOC meeting and be announced during the symposium.

IYA Cooperation Meeting in Thursday, October 11 evening:
Immediately after the end of the session on 11(Thursday), we will hold an informal meeting on the IYA cooperation in the East Asia region. Place of the meeting is Room 504, a small room next to the poster presentation room. You will find the announcement on the information board also. All interested people are welcome.
