Judges' Comments:

Incorporates all aspects of theme, including `Imiloa. Used coloring and etching for added creativity. (Tracy)

Incorporates astronomy and culture navigation theme, shows that everything is interested in to one. `Imiloa is a nice touch. (Inge)


2nd place: Raymond Tanase
Waiakea Intermediate School, Grade 7

Judges' Comments:

Doesn’t necessarily include a “Hawai`i” theme, but creation of “black hole” was quite creative and dimensional. (Tracy)

Love the back whole nice depiction of stars. (Inge)
